It is important to take proper care of your swimwear, if you wish for it to last its normal lifespan. If you follow these simple care tips, you will tend to get plenty of life from your swimwear.
Always hand wash your swimwear as soon as you take it off in cold water. You will eliminate most of the salt and chlorine which are the principle chemicals that affect the Nylon and spandex fibers. Use a mild hand soap or a very mild detergent made for delicate fabrics. Do not soak for extended periods of time.
Never leave wet swimwear bundled together. Don't put swimsuit away until it is completely dry. If it is stored while still wet or humid, it could become discolored. Don't leave the suit soaking overnight, rolled up, or in a towel. This could cause the colors to run.
When applying oil based sun tan lotions, avoid direct contact with your swimsuit since the oils will naturally cause the swimsuit elastics to breakdown.
- Never Machine wash or tumble dry.
- Never Dry Clean Swimwear.
- Never Iron your Swimwear.
- Never Ever Use bleach.
Squeeze out excess water very gently and lay flat, preferably on a dry towel away from direct sun light.
Please remember that long exposure to the sun will fade your swimwear over time.
